ESC Speech Pathology Webinar Series
Stuttering Therapy: Writing Our Own IEPs

This interactive webinar series has proven to be an excellent source of continuing education for many speech pathologists and other school staff since 2012. In this series, we are once again offering high-quality learning opportunities, so speech pathologists and speech pathology assistants can improve upon their existing skill set. Developed through the thoughtful collaboration of ALL twenty education service centers, we have secured respected presenters to deliver timely and high-level learning topics, all conveniently delivered to your computer/device.  The more informed you are, the better prepared you are to serve your students.  Join us throughout the school year for any one, a few, or all of our SLP webinars.

Important Session Information:

After reviewing a list of basic concepts that are foundational to effective stuttering therapy, this presentation will outline how SLPs can learn and grow in their knowledge of “next steps.” Participants will be encouraged to create their own list of strengths and challenges in providing effective stuttering therapy in the schools. Following this reflection, focus will be on how to implement practical, disability-affirming practices as well as how to access available resources for further learning.

2.5 TSHA CE hours are pending approval for this session.

Registered participants will receive handouts and a link specific to the upcoming webinar with instructions to connect from the home or work computer/device prior to the event.
