ESC Speech Pathology Webinar Series
Gestalt Language Processing: What Is It?

This interactive webinar series has proven to be an excellent source of continuing education for many speech pathologists and other school staff since 2012. In this series, we are once again offering high-quality learning opportunities, so speech pathologists and speech pathology assistants can improve upon their existing skill set. Developed through the thoughtful collaboration of ALL twenty education service centers, we have secured respected presenters to deliver timely and high-level learning topics, all conveniently delivered to your computer/device.  The more informed you are, the better prepared you are to serve your students.  Join us throughout the school year for any one, a few, or all of our SLP webinars.

Important Session Information:

This course will examine how the idea of gestalt language processing can be a useful approach for the evaluation and treatment of individuals who communicate through echolalia. We will explore what it is, how understanding it can be useful to some children we serve, and what the current evidence we have says about it.

2.5 TSHA CE hours are pending approval for this session.

This session fulfills the requirements of DEI training for SLPs (i.e., Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Education, Training, Service Delivery, and Public Policy).

Registered participants will receive handouts and a link specific to the upcoming webinar with instructions to connect from the home or work computer/device prior to the event.
