Verification Eligibility/ Direct Verification




The verification process is required of each Contracting Entity every school year.  This process helps insure accuracy with meal applications and must be completed by November 15th each year.  Join us for an in-depth look at the Verification process and learn the essential information you need to know in order to choose your verification sample, determine how many applications you must verify and where to find the letters you must send home.  We will also cover the verification report you must file in TX-UNPS with your results by February 1st.

Verification/ Direct Verfication

This training will teach participants to properly apply their knowledge of the required verificaiton process & reporting, to ensure their programs are in compliance with USDA regulations. Particpants will learn the requirements including how to choose a sample, determining how many applicaitons you must verify and where to find letters to send home. This session also covers the verifcation report due in TXUNPS
