Data Science Instruction: Critical Thinking Skills Practice for High School Classrooms




Data literacy has actually declined over the past decade and lesson plans dedicated to data analysis and statistics consistently get the shortest straw in mathematics and especially science.  In K-12 schools, students are facing an onslaught of emerging technologies, that will require data literacy.  This session is design to provide data sets and student activities that can easily be added to the standards-based content teachers are already required to teach.
