K-12 Grades Specific Analysis of TEKS: New Processes for Science




In 2024-25, we will be implementing our new science TEKS. This academic year, we will dive into understanding how our process standards are changing from scientific investigation and reasoning including the scientific method to scientific and engineering practices. During this session, we will analyze changes in the standards and compare them vertically. We will also discuss how we can begin to introduce the new practices for full implementation in the 24-25 school year.
