G/T 6hr Update - Vertical Differentiation for Gifted, Advanced, and High-Potential Students Book Study
Summer 2024

“Vertical differentiation is adjusting ‘up’ what students know, understand, and do by providing challenges where students are grappling with cognitively complex tasks that prepare them to create, practice, and think as an expert!” ~ Emily L. Mofiled

Join ESC Region 12 as we embark on a six-week online book study of Emily L. Mofield’s book, Vertical Differentiation for Gifted, Advanced, and High-Potential Students. This book outlines 25 engaging tools and strategies to stretch student thinking, promote deep learning, and provide layers of challenge in the classroom and beyond.

This book is essential reading for educators looking to support and extend student thinking across content areas and grade levels.
