Join us for an impactful session designed to increase awareness and school support for students experiencing homelessness. 

Important Session Information:


Roy Juarez, Jr. is a sought after international speaker who began his story in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas....but along the way he encountered significant barriers that shaped his life's work. 

G.O. F.I.S.H.I.N.G. is the acronym he uses to deliver his message of hope and inspiration to connect with youth today and encourage successful outcomes despite tremendous adversity. See more about Roy Juarez, Jr. here

The cost of the session includes his book, Homeless by Choice: A Memoir of Love, Hate, and Forgiveness. 

This session is offered at no cost to members of the 23-24 MV SSA and to districts in the 23-24 Counselor Membership.
