Change Management: How to Manage Change

Leaders must expect resistance to change and effectively plan for all phases of the process. Understanding the most common reasons people object to change gives the leadership team an opportunity to select an appropriate change strategy and plan for the transition. Participants will learn how to manage perceptions, communicate the plan, and make change a part of the campus culture.

This session will focus on leadership skills and strategies to prepare for change in your district and on your campus.

This is a required prerequisite session for any Texas Instructional Leadership work: Observation/Feedback, Data Driven Instruction, Student Cultures and Routines, Lesson Planning and Formative Assessments, and Materials Internalization Alignment.
