The purpose of this session is to provide valuable and necessary information to first year special education teachers, guiding them through the fundamentals of special education such as accommodations and modifications, IEP writing, roles and responsibilities, co-teaching, state assessments, data collection, grading, and much more.  Participants will not only gain special education knowledge, but also form relationships and connections with fellow special education teachers across the region.
