Child Nutrition - NSLP Financial Coding (Revenues, Expenses, Budgets) and Financial Reporting Requirements




The session will assist you in understanding the financial account code structure and how to make the connection between financial information and compliance.  Participants will gain knowledge on budgeting, forecasting, coding and how to utilize this accounting information for program compliance and reporting. The class will cover tracking expenditures and revenues for program and nonprogram foods to aide in completing TDA required reports (Resource Management Summary and TDA Financial Report).  In addition, we will discuss how to complete the financial report.
