Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training is designed to provide the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of students and staff during crisis situations. This person-centered behavior management process provides professionals with strategies to de-escalate moments of crisis.
Participants will explore topics such as; Understanding Risk Behavior, The CPI Crisis Development Module, Integrated Experience, Supportive Communication Skills, Responding to Defensive Behaviors, Safety Interventions, and what to do Post-Crisis.
This session includes physical Disengagement Skills and physical Holding Skills.
