Evidence-Based Practices for Working with Students with Autism

This session explores evidence-based practices as identified by the National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Of the 28 EBPs, this session will highlight Reinforcement, Differential Reinforcement, Prompting, Modeling (along with Video Modeling), Task Analysis, Antecedent-Based Interventions, and Visual Supports. These are considered to be high-leverage practices in autism education and should be in ALL educators’ tool belts. These practices have routinely provided positive results with the most students.

This course is designed for ANYONE working with students with autism and the EBPs covered in this session can be used in ALL educational settings!
