This session is intended to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of the similarities, differences, and fluid movement between student support programs including Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Section 504, and Special Education. We will discuss how MTSS data (universal screeners, progress monitoring, classroom assessments, etc.) can be used for the accurate evaluation, identification, and program planning of students with disabilities.
