Important Session Information:

Suicide is regarded as the "preventable epidemic" among youth in Texas and in the nation. An average of 1 person every 13.7 minutes dies by suicide in our country. The Suicide Prevention Symposium brings together educators and community members in a forum to take action and help save the lives of challenged youth through awareness, intervention, and prevention. ESC Region 12 educators, leaders, and stakeholders come together to renew our charge for school safety and student mental health as we unite in this fight to save our teens from the devastating impacts of mental health crises and suicide. Join us once again in this charge, as we explore local, state, and national resources, hear from those impacted by suicide loss, and learn more about vulnerable populations in our Texas schools.
