G/T 6hr Update - Emotional Intensity in Gifted Students Book Study
Summer 2024




 

Join ESC Region 12 as we embark on a six-week online book study of Christine Fonseca’s book, Emotional Intensity in Gifted Students: Helping Kids Cope with Explosive Feelings. This book provides a much-needed resource for parents and educators for understanding of why gifted children are so extreme in their behavior and how to manage the highs and lows that accompany emotional intensity.

Important Session Information:


Gifted and Talented Members attend for the book fee ($20). This six week, instructor led book study will take place via a Canvas course. Participants will be assigned specific chapters to read and questions to complete via a discussion board. Participants will pay a materials fee ($20) in their registration fee to receive a paperback copy of the text, Emotional Intensity in Gifted Students, to be picked up at the ESC the week prior to the book study beginning.

This session is a 6-hour Gifted/Talented (G/T) Update.
The session begins June 4, 2024 and ends July 26, 2024.
