Take a deep dive into the T-TESS Calibration Process.

Engage in multiple calibration opportunities using the T-TESS Rubric and two different protocols.

Hone your scripting and evidence collecting skill sets. 

Understand that the calibration process is based on best practices with an emphasis on quality evidence. 


Important Session Information:


Why does calibration matter?  Calibration helps us ensure our  measurements are accurate.  Appraisers, we invite you to this  half-day workshop to learn about growing and refining your system of calibration and teacher evaluation. For those districts engaged with Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), this training  aligns with “Success Factor Four: Strongly Calibrated Teacher Observation System”. However, all teams are welcome! This  session is relevant for anyone conducting evaluations.
