Volume 0 - Getting Ready for Reading by Design: Dyslexia Teacher Training
Teachers/Interventionists Already Trained in Dyslexia




This class is designed for the teacher who already has experience teaching dyslexia. This session is part of a series of Reading by Design intervention trainings. This course will introduce participants to Volume 0- Getting Ready for Reading by Design, a volume of 20 lessons designed for students who need extra support with foundational reading skills. This material is designed to support foundational literacy before beginning a program like Reading by Design. Lesson components include phonological awareness, alphabet, fine motor, oral language, and components of language. Participants will receive a Volume 0 teacher guide, an alphabet deck, a feelings poster, and a set of vocabulary picture cards. 

Important Session Information:


This is a half-day session for the teacher/interventionist already trained in dyslexia. Volume 0 consists of 20 lessons, appropriate for ANY Tier 2 or Tier 3 student who continues to struggle with alphabet skills, phonological awareness, oral language, fine motor and/or listening comprehension.
