Building Parent/Guardian & Family Capacity vs. Building Relationships




In this session, participants will explore district and campus resources in order to understand and implement ESSA requirements for Parent and Family Engagement. We will review policies for compliance and discuss best practices for this area. This is a collaborative session--get ready to dialogue with other professionals from all across the Region!

 

 


Important Session Information:


During this session participants will learn ESSA PFE Requirements for Building Parent Capacity.  

Participants will be able to identify the difference between building parent/family capacity and building relationships. Multiple building capacity ideas and building relationship ideas will be given. 

Multiple resources will be available to the participants during and after the session.  Participants will receive the zoom link a day before the session.
