Meaningful Discipline Course 3: Alternatives to Disciplinary Removals
Online Session

Meaningful Discipline Course 3 is the culmination of our series that focuses on the challenges and potential solutions associated with student discipline. In this final course, we will look specifically at various alternatives to disciplinary removal, including restorative practices, that are being implemented across the state. We will hear from LEAs who have utilized some of these methods, and look at associated data so that attendees can explore alternative disciplinary solutions that might be right for their campuses and personnel.

The Meaningful Discipline Series is a three part series that will help administrators, behavior specialists, special education directors, and other stakeholders navigate the challenges associated with discipline, compliance, and special education. We will look closely at RDA Indicator 18 data and explore effective alternatives to exclusionary and punitive discipline. Participants will have access to all resources from each session, and sessions will be held virtually from 9 to 11 AM.
