Vision & Hearing Recertification




As per The Texas Administrative Code regarding vision and hearing testing in Texas schools and daycares, DSHS specialists train nurses and others to screen students. For more information, go to their website at https://www.dshs.texas.gov/vhs/default.shtm

This course must be taken as a full course the first time, then can be taken as a recertification if the card has not expired; the certification is good for five years, and is good until December 31st of the year it expires.
