8th Grade Math STAAR




8th grade: The Real Review – Two-Day Training

During this two-day training, teachers will explore an engaging and structured approach to reviewing 8th grade concepts for a 14 day planned review. Participants will learn how to implement the given daily warm-ups that activate students’ prior knowledge, identify learning gaps, and set the stage for deeper understanding.

Teachers will also experience and practice facilitating 25-30 minute collaborative activities designed for pairs or small groups. These activities shift the focus from teacher-led instruction to student-centered learning.
