Fentanyl Awareness Training




SB 629 requires each school district to adopt and implement a policy regarding the maintenance, administration, training, and disposal of opioid antagonists. The Fentanyl Awareness training session is designed for school personnel and school community groups.

The presentation will include:

• Understanding what opioids are and the dangers of opioid and fentanyl use
• Signs of opioid overdose
• How to administer Naloxone
• Safe disposal of opioids
