Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

This full day session brings together the key elements of Universal Design for Learning into one comprehensive training. Participants will explore practical strategies to design learning environments that meet the diverse needs of students while supporting the success of all learners.

Throughout the day we will focus on UDL's three core principles:

  • Engagement - how to spark motivation and sustain interest in learning
  • Representation - how to present knowledge and concepts in multiple ways to support understanding
  • Action & Expression - how students can demonstrate their learning in varied and meaningful ways

By the end of the session, participants will walk away with ready-to-use strategies and tools to create classrooms where every learner has access and opportunity to thrive.
