Figuring Out Fluency: Addition and Subtraction




"When we talk about being "fluent in mathematics," what do we really mean? We know it's something we all want for our students, but do we know what it really looks like in practice?"

Important Session Information:


  1. Note-taking: Have a notebook or digital note-taking tool ready to jot down key points and insights during the session. Digital notes will be provided, so a laptop and a charger are needed.

  2. We will provide table boxes; however, please feel free to bring your own supplies such as pens, highlighters, sticky notes, post-it flags, etc

  3. Room temperatures can fluctuate, so you may want to bring a jacket.

  4. Please give yourself time to park.
