This session focuses on best practices for creating a comprehensive calibration plan that ensures the validity and reliability of teacher observation data. Using the ESC 12 Calibration Tool, participants will learn to identify rater drift and analyze scoring skew to ensure alignment between T-TESS ratings and student growth. From evidence-based scripting to statistical correlation, you will leave with a concrete plan to eliminate bias, satisfy state requirements, and maximize teacher designations across your district.
