TIA - Mid Year Data Review: Analyzing Skew and Correlation
Share
This session supports districts in analyzing TIA data to evaluate system alignment, identify patterns and risks, and determine data-informed next steps for continuous improvement.
Important Session Information:
This session focuses on conducting a midyear review of Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) data as a checkpoint for evaluating the effectiveness of district data systems and data culture. Participants will analyze teacher observation and student growth data to examine correlation and skew, identifying patterns that signal strengths, misalignment, or risk within current data collection practices. Emphasis is placed on interpreting midyear data to assess system coherence, consistency, and rigor, and on using findings to determine targeted adjustments that strengthen data integrity and support successful end-of-year outcomes.
