This training session is designed for speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and teachers who work directly with or indirectly support students with feeding and swallowing needs in the public school setting.
This training session will cover the following topics:
- Universal Safe Feeding and Swallowing Guidelines
- Signs and symptoms of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders
- Health and safety concerns associated with pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders
- Procedures for referring students to the feeding and swallowing support team
- Roles and responsibilities of the members of the feeding and swallowing support team
