Paraprofessional Academy CANVAS course is an online training designed for individuals interested in becoming Highly Qualified Educational Aides in Texas public schools. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of paraprofessionals who support student learning, with a special focus on serving diverse and special populations.

The academy provides targeted instruction in mathematics and reading/language arts, along with a testing component that requires participants to demonstrate the competencies required for Highly Qualified status upon completion.
