This session is tailored specifically for Elementary Middle School Counselors (PK-5). Counselors who serve students in elementary grades will learn about topics including guidance lessons and climate-and-culture building on the elementary campus, tools for reaching students and parents in poverty situations, bullying prevention and intervention, digital citizenship/social media responsibility, behavioral interventions, advising pre-adolescents, and more. Participants will be able to learn of various procedures for implementing state mandates and ensuring quality elementary school counseling services for public schools.
