G/T Basic II: Assessing Student Needs for Identification
Spring 2026 Virtual

Recalling G/T learners' traits, participants will review legal documents outlining service requirements, compare identification tools, participate in a mock screening, and evaluate their districts' identification process. This is the second of the five six-hour training sessions, and it forms the core of the 30 hours of G/T training for certification. This workshop meets the state requirements for G/T basic training in the identification and recruitment of G/T students.
