This session unpacks the Texas Education Agency’s Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) for Reading Language Arts—a set of universal, evidence-based teaching practices proven to work in any K-12 classroom, regardless of your current curriculum. Participants will explore the four core pillars of RLA RBIS: Foundational Skills, Text Complexity, Knowledge Coherence, and Text-Based Responses.
