The Art of LPAC
Authenticate New Acquisitions (BOY)

Exhibition Invitation: The Gallery Archive

A Three-Part Masterclass in Linguistic Curation

Attention, Newly Appointed Gallery Directors: Are you feeling overwhelmed by the massive collection of state compliance paperwork? Do the complex rules of Texas Chapter 89 feel like a blurred abstraction? Welcome to The Gallery Archive, a supportive, three-part professional development series meticulously designed to slow-roll the LPAC lifecycle for novice curators.

In this exclusive, year-long residency, we strip away the clinical anxiety of compliance and reframe the LPAC process as an act of elite artistic curation. You will learn that your Emergent Bilingual students are not blank canvases—they are dynamic, multi-layered masterpieces waiting to be preserved, framed, and unveiled.

Important Session Information:

Authenticate New Acquisitions (BOY): Master the art of initial identification, Home Language Surveys, student accommodation distribution, and cataloging student language profiles and goals. Ensure that best practices for PEIMS coding and scheduling students with B/ESL certified teachers to potentially avoid a Bilingual Exception or ESL Waiver.

This is a supplemental training regarding processes and procedures. Initial LPAC training can be completed at no charge through the TEALearn platform
