CACFP Food Safety in Child Care





Food Safety in Child Care has been developed as a four (4) hour food safety training for child care foodservice employees. Food Safety in Child Care materials have been adapted using the USDA Fight Bac ® program:
• CLEAN: Wash hands and surfaces often!
• SEPARATE: Don’t cross contaminate!
• COOK: Cook to proper temperature!
• CHILL: Refrigerate promptly!
