Conversation STAARters: Composition Writing, Revising, and Editing
Grades 4-12




Students who can communicate clearly when speaking are much better prepared to meet the demands of the STAAR writing test. Getting students to view writing as an extension of speaking skills provides a foundation for teaching composing, revising, and editing. This session will focus on creating opportunities for students to develop the writing skills required by the STAAR assessment.
