Literacy and Little Learners: Making Media and Technology Meaningful in Grades K-2

During the literacy block, students need the opportunity to collaborate and engage in conversations that highlight their thinking. Student learning can also be strengthened by integrating technology during reading and writing instruction. In this session, participants will explore strategies and tools for incorporating media and technology activities that provide primary students with opportunities to analyze how words, images, graphics, and sounds work together to impact meaning and deepen their comprehension of text.
