NCLB requires that every district and campus develop a written parent involvement policy that builds capacity for strong parent involvement through strategies and activities. Each campus served under NCLB Title I, A must develop a school-parent compact jointly with parents that helps to build partnerships to support student achievement. This session will include the Basic Elements of the Parent Involvement Policy and portions of the Parent Empowerment Toolkit.
